Diploma of Counselling (Gestalt Therapy) – 2 Yrs
* Once students have graduated from TGI with the Dip. Couns. (G.T) there are opportunities to continue on to several Masters Programmes. If you are interested in these pathways of study please enquire at your Interview for entry to the course.
* Certificate course is a pre-requisite
Advanced Certificate of Gestalt Therapy – 1 Yr
* To progress to the ‘Masters of Gestalt Therapy’ you will need to do this bridging year to enter the Graduate Masters Program.
* This 1 year program can also be done as a Professional Development program for Graduates of the Diploma Program to increase their knowledge and practice base.
* Certificate & Diploma Courses are pre-requisites
Our Philosophy
“Our training program has been created to provide students with optimum support throughout their learning process, both theoretically and experientially, in preparation for becoming competent and effective Gestalt Practitioners.
This program is designed in a way to prepare students through the integration of personal & group processes, theoretical understanding and professional development. On completion of the program, students will be able to competently facilitate and support others within the Gestalt model, whether this be formally as a Counsellor or informally by incorporating Gestalt principles into their work and daily lives.
Ultimately, our aim is to enable trainees to develop their own unique style, utilising their creative ability and inner wisdom to relate to others with meaning and authenticity.”
